The Nikon D6 takes its place as the flagship DSLR with Nikon’s most powerful autofocus system to date, featuring 105 selectable cross-type AF points to help capture the moment even in challenging conditions.

With the promise to be an uncompromising workhorse, the FX format Nikon D6 is engineered to work fast and shave time off your workflow. The Expeed 6 processor is Nikon’s fastest, most comprehensive image processing engine to date. Features and upgrades deliver versatility, reliability, and new capabilities. Continuous shooting speed is up to 14 frames per second. A new 180K-pixel Scene Recognition System fine tunes autofocus and exposure. Workflow advances include 14 buttons that can be personalized with up to 46 functions, instant access to presets, and button-free image annotation, voice memos, and image transfer.

Other features include 16:9 4K Ultra HD capture, silent capture in Live View, illuminated controls, dual media cards slots for CFexpress or XQD memory type cards, Focus Shift Mode, and built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. Suggested retail price for the body is $6,499.95,
