Product highlight: Hasselblad X1D II 50C

In its first generation, the Hasselblad X1D 50C offered a mirrorless medium-format design in a compact, lightweight build. With the X1D II 50C, you get true-to-life tones that reflect what the human eye sees, 16-bit raw image capture as well as full-resolution JPEGs captured with a 50-megapixel CMOS sensor, and an upgraded electronic platform. Improvements include a 2.36 million-dot touch display and enhanced OLED electronic viewfinder with higher resolution and faster live view refresh rate. Shutter lag and blackout time between frames have been reduced, and there’s a 46% reduction in startup time from the X1D 50C.

With built-in Wi-Fi and USB-C connection, the camera allows you to use Phocus Mobile 2 to edit on the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models. Phocus Mobile 2 supports import, editing, and rating raw images plus full-quality image export, tethered shooting, and camera control.

The camera body weighs less than 1.5 pounds. Hasselblad has designed XCD lenses to take full advantage of the mirrorless medium format and currently offers nine focal lengths. Optional adapters allow you to use H or V System lenses and XPan.

The Hasselblad X1D II 50C body is priced at $5,750. The XCD 3,5/45 lens is priced at $2,695.
