PHOTOGRAPHER’S NOTE: “You know when you see someone or something you just need to photograph—this was definitely one of those moments,” Michael Fried says. The portrait was made at a wedding. Fried’s second photographer stole the subject from the reception dinner for a few moments, and Fried photographed her in the coatroom, where he’d arranged a one-light setup.
