Sigma extends warranty coverage to hurricane damage
Sigma Corporation of America announced that it will extend warranty coverage for Sigma products still under warranty to cover damages incurred as a result of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, or Maria. For Sigma equipment that was damaged and still under warranty, Sigma will provide complimentary service to get back in working order or, for a fee, offer trade-in options.
The terms of Sigma warranties apply, so Sigma owners will need to provide documentation of proof of purchase date to include with the damaged gear shipped to Sigma. This includes copies of credit card charges for purchase of the equipment that was damaged. If appropriate documentation is not available as a result of the hurricanes, contact Sigma at (888) 896-6858. The company says it will work with customers on a case-by-case basis to reach a solution.
Eligibility for this offer is subject to Sigma’s sole discretion. Damaged gear must be received by Dec. 31, 2017. Equipment will be shipped back at no charge.
